Tonight’s event, Data Activism + Decompress, is now being held at
The Malcom X and Dr Betty Shabazz Memorial + Education Center.

As an organization, we work hard to ensure that any institution that hosts us, is one that respects freedom of expression. Barnard College is an affiliate of Columbia University and recently, several Columbia students and faculty have been punished for their support of a ceasefire in Palestine. Our solidarity remains with these students and faculty. We respect their request to boycott Columbia and its affiliates.

Please join us this evening at The Shabazz Center. Wednesday marked the 59th anniversary of the assassination of Malcom X at the very location where the Shabazz Center now stands.

This evening will include a powerful keynote delivered by our founder and CEO, Yeshimabeit Milner. Afterward, London-based musician and DJ, Cõvco, will activate the space in a performance you do not want to miss.
